Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you (the "Client") and Words Tie. By accessing our website or requesting our translation, localization, or DTP services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these terms.
Scope of Services
Words Tie provides professional language services, including but not limited to document translation, website localization, proofreading, and Desktop Publishing (DTP). All services are executed by qualified linguists to ensure the highest quality and cultural accuracy.
Quotes and Pricing
Quotes provided via our website or email are estimates based on the word count, language pair, subject matter complexity, and requested turnaround time. A quote is only considered binding once we have reviewed the final source files and both parties have agreed on the price and delivery date.
Client Obligations
To ensure the best possible outcome for your project, you agree to:
- Provide clear, legible, and complete source materials.
- Supply any relevant reference materials, glossaries, or specific formatting instructions prior to the start of the project.
- Respond promptly to any queries our project managers or linguists may have during the translation process.
Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
We understand the sensitive nature of the documents you share with us. Words Tie agrees to hold all client materials in strict confidence. Information will only be shared with personnel and linguists directly involved in the execution of your project, all of whom are bound by confidentiality agreements.
Intellectual Property Rights
The Client guarantees that they own or have the right to use and translate the source materials provided. Once full payment has been received by Words Tie, all intellectual property rights pertaining to the translated (target) text will be transferred to the Client.
Revisions and Quality Assurance
We strive for excellence in every project. If you find any objective errors or omissions in the delivered translation, you must notify Words Tie within a specified period (usually 14 days) after delivery. We will correct any justified errors at no additional cost. Preferential or stylistic changes that deviate from the original text are not considered errors.
Limitation of Liability
While Words Tie makes every effort to provide accurate and culturally appropriate translations, we shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our translated materials. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific project in question.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Words Tie is registered, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
